The Conquistadores Middle School Track and Field Invitationals, created in 2000 by John Warren is held annually at a predetermined local Tucson high school.

The purpose of the free track meet is to provide Arizona middle school track athletes with a competitive and meaningful experience and to serve as a fundraiser for the hosting high school.

Many of our past participants have continued their pursuit of track and field in high school and some have excelled further and go on to compete at the collegiate level.
